The ADDP model is my holy grail to form and initiate successful projects.
It incorporates essential aspects of organisational and behavioural change. Depending on the challenge, my mandates can focus on one particular step of the model - the most successful ones usually go from A to P.
Align.
Alignment is the foundation for joint success. Vision, objectives, ways of working and priorities can only be effective if everyone is on board with the same understanding. Reference models and a shared language will be paramount to improve communication and collaboration - within and beyond the team.
Discover.
Along a structured and targeted journey, participants collect facts and unknowns to create a solid knowledge foundation. Discovery workshops equip teams with the necessary full picture to make well-informed decisions along the way.
Design.
Design thinking in and outside of workshops allow everyone to participate and contribute. Distinct and clearly scoped methods provide guidance and clarity for what’s expected. The design phase will deliver the substance for what will be planned and implemented later.
Plan.
This is where all the results from the alignment, discovery and design phases are combined to allow for realistic planning. On a strong foundation, the team will be able to determine priorities, dependencies & consequences.

Alignment and a common language based on shared models and frameworks.
A common understanding for a vision, a strategy, a tactical approach or an entire transformation program is the foundation for success. Without alignment, people and teams pull different strings in different directions wasting money, resource, trust and confidence. I use models and frameworks to create a common perspective and make sure that people mean the same thing when talking to each other.
As part of my work, I apply the scientifically designed Mirror Mirror framework to evaluate and visualise alignment gaps in management, project and transformation teams.
